Our soaps are hand made in our Adelaide Hills studio. Soaps are made in the traditional cold process method without the use of palm oil or genetically modified (GMO) ingredients. Soap making has been in my family for over 100 years. I grew up listening to my mother's stories of making enough soap to last the family a whole year. As commercial soap became widely available in a busier world, the tradition halted a few decades. But we understood the benefits of hand made natural soap, compared to commercial soap, and brought it back in 2009. Everything old becomes new again. Natural soap maintains glycerine, otherwise stripped out in commercial production, and leaves skin soft and hydrated. The plant oils used in all our natural bars are filled with fatty acids which are essential building blocks of cell membranes, leaving skin nourished and conditioned. The unscented goat's milk cleansing bar is our everyday soap and all other bars are a luxury, scented with natural essential oils. Customer feedback on the benefits of using our silky bubbles has been personally rewarding. And it's lovely to bring back a tradition that tied family together for generations.
We bottle 100% pure essential oils, sourcing oils from all over the world where plants are grown in natural habitats. For example, Sweet Orange, Lemon Myrtle, Tea Tree and Sandalwood from Australia, Frankincense from Africa, Rose Geranium from France and so on. We do not purchase unsustainable oils as we need to protect species that are on the verge of extinction. With formulary experience we also blend essential oils, giving you the benefit of several oils in one blend - Brain Boost, Inner Beauty, Sweet Sleep, etc.
You'll also find we have organic Rose Hip and Jojoba oils. As well as a range of infused oils, Calendula being my favourite. These beneficial oils offer a multitude of vitamin, omega and antioxidant properties to nourish and protect your skin, keeping it supple and youthful.
Having completed a Diploma in Personal Care Formulation, my focus is to bring you a beautiful and effective range of skin care.
